And still the work goes on. Here's Ian last Saturday levelling out the top soil which has spent the past six months or so in a huge heap. It looks better now--at least it's flat-- but we'll now have to wait until March until turf can be laid.

I shall just leave a brief comment of congratulations for now. I am not sure exactly how I came upon your book reviewing blog, but I found this chapel-conversion story so interesting and well-told that I spent most of a weekend reading all the old posts, in order. I stopped when I got to the 22nd of May, but intend to resume soon.
