We've even had snow like that in deepest darkest (and usually wettest) Somerset - was sledging on the Quantocks yesterday. And more due tonight. Ah bliss - work cancelled...
Both children's schools closed today. I was annoyed as I braved the snow with the car (the roads were terrible) to take Megan, only to discover the school closed when I got there. I was supposed to receive a text message alert about school closure, but it didn't come through until after 8.30 when I'd already set off. Aargh!
But not, it would seem, as much as they got in London. But hey...it's prettier up here--and we don't make a fuss.
